George Washington Carver

george washington carver George Washington Carver was an a coarse chemist who played an important role in hoidenish advancements in the U.S. He was the son of slaves, and was born around the class 1860, near Diamond Grove, Missouri. Carver was an outstanding student in high school, and later went on to Simpson College, in Iowa, in 1891. He graduated from the Iowa Agricultural College in 1894 with a B.S. degree, and taught agriculture and bacterial botany while working on his M.S. in agriculture, which he received in 1896. After receiving his masters, he landed a job as the director of agriculture in the Tuskegee Institute, in Alabama.

He continued to work there for the duration of his life, which end on January 5, 1943, due to anemia.
