Prior to watching the performance of Our Town, I did non receive what the chat up was about. I knew it was by Thornton Wilder and had hear about it before, however I had non known the direct content of the receive. Therefore, I was eager to carry out this play since it is well known and moderately famous among opposite plays. I left my ho utilise expecting to see a rightfully good play. Although it is a famous play, I actually did non enthrall the content of the play.         I had been to the Tomlinson study before on Temples campus and I really did not enjoy that theater frame-up as much as other theaters I had been to this semester. With that in mind, I still expected to see a really good play even though I did not analogous the ho recitation. When the play began there were a lot of tribe on stage. This was interesting because I occupy seen so many plays where just one or twain characters start on stage. After everyone said their open ing lines and gave the exposition of the town, they took their seats. I did alike(p) how there were narrators for the story. I felt like they were talking straight off to the audience and even felt bug out of the town. I also image that the characters that were not doing a come away did the sound effects. I intellection that was a real captain and efficient way of doing sound effects. It gave realism to the characters actions even though they sometimes were not using props. The fact that they did not use as many props as they could have was not pleasing to me.
